The Epicly Nerdy Website of Awesomeness!

I've created an incredibly awesome background while working on wallpapers and decided to use it on my reviews page. Of course, it's a HUGE file, so it may take a while to load on some computers, and I'll be working on making a smaller version.

Speaking of wallpapers, I'm going to start working on that page! Finally! I figure I have a couple quality things worth sharing so I'll get that started.

Some upcoming changes to the website:

Well, since I'm taking a class here in college where I'm learning XHTML and CSS, I'm going to attempt my own style sheet with my own images one of these days.

Also, since I'm trying to get away from using "K-Star" as a screenname (since I am NOT the character I created, and I don't want people to associate the character too closely to myself), the site now has a new name and all posts will be signed using my own name. It is my website after all. :P

Of course, this means I gotta make a new mini-banner...

So, I'm joining an Oekaki site called Oekaki Central, and they require a link to a personal website that displays art you've made. So, I'm putting a link to one of my most recent pics here.

Today I discovered a fundraiser called Extra Life which raises money for the Texas Children's Hospital's Cancer Center. These people do really awesome stuff for kids with cancer, so it's definitely worth donating to these guys. Anyways, what I'm supposed to do is get people to sponsor me to play video games for 24 hours straight. I've never successfully pulled an all-nighter before but I'm darn sure going to do it this time! (I've involuntarily stayed up till 7:30am before after drinking two cans of Mountain Dew Supernova after midnight. If I drink a few more or drink a stronger caffienated beverage, I'll be set!)

Thanks for supporting the cause! I will be doing this marathon gaming session this Saturday (which means I'll be missing the homecoming game unless it's televised so I can have it on in the background while playing some computer games.)

So yeah, I updated the avatar page to match the style sheet but that's about it. I'll get to the other pages sometime this summer.

On my to-do list: Get a page up for the Wallpaper section, make the other pages fit the style sheet.

I downloaded a CSS template called "Stargazer" from Free CSS Templates. They've got some good stuff there. I plan on tweaking these images a bit to give them my own personal flare, but for now this is great. Certainly alot neater than the old layout, right? Don't be alarmed if some of the old pages are still in the old format though.
