If you are an Agricultural Education major, you should belong to the Ag Ed Society. No matter what your emphasis (Teaching or Leadership) our organization will help you:

• Meet professionals in agricultural education
• Develop friendships
• Develop a professional attitude
• Discover what area of the field you are best suited for

The Ag Ed Society offers many opportunities for you to be a leader, and annual dues are only $5.

The organization is recommended for Agricultural Education majors in good academic standing. Students can become active members during their first semester at MU.

2008 Alpha Tau Alpha inductees

MU Ag Ed Society also offers membership into the national honorary group known as Alpha Tau Alpha, also known as ATA. To be eligible for membership in ATA, the you should have:

• Completed 30 credit hours
• Have at least a 3.0 GPA
• Be an Agricultural Education major

The Ag Ed Society holds at least 2 meetings a month during the school year. Check out the Activities and Committees pages to learn what events Ag Ed Society holds and participates in!
