Hi, my name is Andrew Lynch. I am a doctoral candidate in Finance in my fifth year at the University of Missouri.

Research Interests

My current research interests are in asset pricing, mutual funds, short selling and liquidity. I am working on papers in short selling, mutual funds, REITs, the January Effect and liquidity risk. See the Research Link to the left to download my working papers.

Educational Background

I did my undergraduate work at Southwest Baptist University, earning a BA in Business Administration and Communications in 2005. While there I was heavily involved in the SBU forensics team and Students in Free Enterprise. I earned a MA in Economics from the University of Missouri in 2007. While in the Econ Department I was a teaching assistent for Principles of Microeconomics and Principles of Macroeconomics. I also was a TA for Personal and Family Finance in the Personal Financial Planning Department and taught Financial Planning: Computer Applications. Since joining the Finance Department I have taught an awesome course titled The Investment Strategies of Warren Buffett, Financial Management Policy, Microeconomics for Business and Financial Markets.
